Design Services
Robinson Interiors at Sycamore Cottage works by letter of agreement, outlining the scope of the proposed project and the fees associated with it. Each prospective client receives a copy of this 'Description of Services' before work begins, so that the client understands our billing practices clearly. Our fees are typical of the interior design industry. We charge an hourly fee for all design related activities, including things like room layouts, cost estimating, client meetings, personal shopping excursions, and product searches. No travel fees are incurred within the greater Philadelphia area, although in some instances, daily rates, along with travel related expenses apply to out-of-town clients. |

All products purchased through
Robinson Interiors at Sycamore Cottage
are sold on a 'cost plus' basis. This means that the client is billed the wholesale cost of the item plus a minimum of 30% passing
on to the customer a significant savings off the retail price. Currently the hourly rate for Robinson Interiors' design services is $95.00. Generally, an initial consultation lasts between 1 and 3 hours, depending upon the scope of the project. For our out of town customers or clients who wish to make day-long shopping excursions, Robinson Interiors' daily rate is $600.00 for up to 8 hours at one sitting A 50% deposit is required before ordering all custom treatments and merchandise. |
