Kristine Robinson originally hails from the Pittsburgh area, where she studied Opera and Vocal Performance at
Carnegie Mellon University. After moving to the Atlanta area with her husband Eric in 1990, Kristine entered the Real Estate
profession. This allowed her to draw on a love of homes and historic architecture. Kristine shortly realized her true calling
involved the aesthetics of a home, and soon decided to pursue a career in interior design. A few years later Kristine
received her interior design degree with honors from Gwinnett Technical Institute in Lawrenceville, GA. While pursuing her
degree and shortly thereafter, she enjoyed 4 years of working in the antiques business as a principal buyer and visual
merchandiser for Lisa Thompson and Associates. This 'trade-only' showroom was located in the prestigious Miami Circle market
area in the Buckhead section of Atlanta, GA. It was at this time, in 1995, that Kristine opened her own design firm and
operated on a part time basis for several years. In 1997, Kristine went to work for a large design firm in Alpharetta, GA,
called Yessick's Design Center. Here she enjoyed doing interior design for a large volume of clients on a full time basis,
allowing her skill and love for the art of design to grow. Mrs. Robinson currently owns and operates her 14-year-old design firm, Robinson Interiors, and is currently the lead interior design instructor for Temple University's design certificate program. Kristine enjoys mentoring other design professionals by presenting lectures at prestigious design conferences held throughout the United States. She especially likes creating custom, one-of-a-kind interiors for her clients and always enjoys incorporating antiques into her designs, even in the most comtemporary of spaces. Kristine Robinson's designs can be found in clients' homes across the United States.
